It would be good to have a choice if I need at least one day before the tenant will move in. Lately, few tenants wanted to move the same day as they make the reservation and somehow it looks quite often these type of people may just be going through something difficult... Probably, I would also choose to have tenant with some positive previous reviews, or have possibility to meet them before confirming moving in.

GOOD AND EASY

You have good properties at reasonable prices.

I can strongly recommend it as it had more great properties than Airbnb and yet the cost was reasonable.

It’s a very safe platform and gives us full information on how we should proceed in every situation and what we should be careful about.

I recommend Flatio a lot to my friends who have vacation rentals on other platforms, especially where they are being legislated out of their short term rentals. I had a few challenges with this last booking, necessitating a LOT of communication with Flatio Support (who were always excellent and patiently answered my questions - thanks Flatio Support Team!). Some of it stemmed from instructions in the Help for Landlords that led me to believe that the payment schedule could be changed after an amendment. Mine was a unique situation, and a little painful to be honest, in that I needed to refund the tenant who then had to pay me the same about back about a week later. I wished at the time that the payment schedule could simply be changed but perhaps clarifying the wording in the help section on amendments could avoid such a situation in the future for owner, tenant and Support team. What was unclear was that the general amendment could not result in a payment schedule change (or a change in the lease start date) in this specific situation - after the first lease payment had been released even though the tenant had not arrived on his checkin date. Thanks again to Flatio Support for all the assistance through this challenging situation. You are the best!
