Flat for rent - Đenovići

Modern apartment in new build complex, less than 10 minutes' walk from Djenovici's beach and lively promenade with shops, bars and restaurants. It can accommodate up to 6 people across a master double bedroom, a second bedroom with bunk bed, and a double sofa bed in the living room. Its stand-out feature is the balcony, offering a stunning 180° view of Kotor Bay with its green mountains and clear lake-like sea water.

The apartment comprises of a fully equipped kitchen, large dining / living room area with a sofa bed, master bedroom, 2nd bedroom with a bunk bed, and a bathroom with shower. The kitchen includes 4 electric hobs, oven, microwave oven, kettle, toaster and a fridge with a freezer compartment. You will also find plenty of cutlery & crockery, pots and pans, cooking utensils etc. AirCon / heating unit and WiFi connection are provided. Both bedrooms are located at the back of the building facing the green hillside, which makes them extra quiet and relaxing, and all windows are equipped with roller shutters, so you can have a lie-in in peace without being woken up by the sunlight.

Enjoy a meal or a drink in the sun on the balcony while feasting your eyes on the glorious view of Kotor Bay. Then perhaps take a leisurely stroll to the seaside through a quiet, paved pedestrian street and enjoy the beach and promenade of Djenovici with its many restaurants, bars and shops.

Markus and Elisa, and Branca at their management agency, were very helpful, friendly, and responsive. The apartment is lovely and has all the amenities one could hope for. The location is very good—it's a quick walk to the waterside and lovely restaurants, and there are many grocery shops close by. The bus picks up just outside the apartment—it's a quick ride north to Herceg Noví, and a direct, scenic route to Old Town Kotor. One hundred percent a lovely place to stay!!

My friend and I enjoyed a wonderful time in Markus & Elisa's apartment in Djenovici. Markus was SO responsive and kind from the very beginning, and the ladies with the property management company were very sweet and helpful, as well!

The only challenges we faced were that the building/address is still relatively new, which made receiving mail a bit tricky (not typically an issue for most people, anyway!), and, confusingly, while the internet was fast enough to do pretty typical things such as streaming movies/music/etc, the signal from the router was not strong enough for our Chromebooks to pick up, although my laptop & our phones had no problem. Weird! (Could very well be a Chromebook issue, to be fair!) It also was a just a little bit shakey for doing video chats, so if you work in some form of consultation/counselor/therapist practice, this is worth knowing (as getting WiFi at a cafe isn't really an option in that line of work!). But I believe most remote workers would be totally fine working here. :)

Overall this place is in a great location, with an *extraordinary* view that we never, ever grew tired of. The bus stop is almost literally right outside the front door, and the ferry to hop over to Tivat is a super close and easy journey, as well. It was our first time in Montenegro and the Herceg-Novi area, and now we are both curious what it's like a little closer to the busy season, when many more things are open. :)
Wonderfully affordable and all of our basic needs were very well-met. Would absolutely send anyone Markus' way and to have a stay in this place.

Neighborhood
The location in Djenovici is a bit out from Herceg-Novi, but it's simple to hop on the bus and get over there in about 20 minutes (a bus ride is one euro per person!). There is a smaller Idea market nearby, or there is a fancier "Idea Gourmet" market about a ten-minute walk away in Portonovi, but it's considerably more expensive. We were there in the off-season, so many things were closed! But it's such a short walk down to the water/promenade, where in the busier season it's clear there are tons of restaurants and things to enjoy.
Recommended places nearby
It's a modest journey (easy bus ride to the ferry at Kamenari, then catch another bus ride on the other side at Lepetane into central Tivat), but after doing quite a bit of searching for good coffee (not just to have made for us, but for good beans we could buy), we found a great coffee shop in Tivat called Kafeterija Porto. You can buy really nice (even organic) beans, and they'll grind them for you & whatever your needs will be (french press, etc).

What happens after I make a reservation?

Once you send a reservation request, the landlord is notified that you are interested in their offer. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your reservation.

What is the standard furnishing of flats?
