How can I book my selected accommodation?

What does the Flatio booking process look like and how can it be done? See our guidance in this explanatory article!

To rent accommodation through Flatio, it's necessary to create a booking request. After you do so, the host will have 24 hours to accept or reject your request. The decision depends mainly on how much information you share about yourself in your profile, which you can finalize before or even after you submit your booking request. The more information you share, the better your chances of having the booking accepted.

Booking request

Creating a booking request is easy! After you choose the accommodation you'd like to book, go to the booking box shown on the right side of the listing details. You'll need to enter the dates of your stay and then you'll be able to proceed with the "Continue" button.

On the new page, you will see the booking summary and you'll be asked to fill out some additional information that is necessary for the booking request submission. In this step, you can also enter a discount code for the service fee if you have received it.

1. Contact information

If you haven't created a profile on Flatio yet, here you can choose whether you wish to have a regular or business profile.

Then you'll need to enter basic information about yourself (or your company), including your contact details. No worries, we won't share your phone number or email address with the host until you sign the lease agreement! However, we will use them for communicating with you and keeping you updated about the booking request, and they will also serve as your login information for the My Housing web app. That's why it's important that you enter the correct information.

2. About you

This part is crucial for the hosts. Share as much information as possible, and don't forget to mention all the people who will stay in the property. Short introductions can lead to the request's rejection as the host may need more information for a positive outcome.

3. Booking confirmation

Before submitting your booking, you'll need to agree to our Terms and Conditions and personal data processing. You can also choose to sign up for our special newsletter that contains even special promo discounts.

Then you'll be able to click the "Send a booking request" button, after which the host will be notified of your booking and will review it. In the meantime, we strongly recommend that you finalize your profile, so the host has all the important information and can quickly approve your request.
